Embracing the technology of UAVs (Drones) can enhance the construction management process through site photos, advanced surveying, material management, inspections, and beyond. Integrating survey grade, real time kinematic (RTK) drone solutions can allow for high-precision mapping and site analytics. Maximize drone data using photogrammetry software for visual inspections, capturing accurate aerial imagery, creating 3D site models, and providing site measurements and volume calculations. This presentation will provide a workflow to integrate drones into a project from mission planning to post-processing data to make strategic decisions and a final deliverable to the Owner organization. Incorporating the cloud environment will allow for collaboration with internal and external clients during construction.
