Otay Medical Tower is a 12-story, 220 thousand sq ft medical centre with 52 fitted doctors’ offices and specialty clinics. Built in Tijuana, Mexico, and operated by "Medica de la Ciudad" to include urgent care, surgery rooms, x-rays, and ICU areas. PIZA International used emergent technologies as the forefront for all management activities. This health facility was structurally built as a type 1 building (hospital grade); the architect designed a modern Avant-guard look for what is a growing trend at border cities which is Medical Tourism.
