As the construction industry embraces more technology solutions that manage invaluable jobsite data, important questions must be asked about protecting that data. A recent study conducted by Dodge Construction Network and Egnyte found that 59% of architects, engineers and contractors surveyed said that they have experienced a cybersecurity threat in the last two years. While integrating technology into everyday workflows and utilizing data storage has shown consistent benefits for productivity and profitability, digital discipline must be practiced to stay competitive.
Join Dodge’s Industry Insights Research Director, Dr. Donna Laquidara-Carr, and Egnyte’s Construction Practice Lead for the AEC Segment, Nick Decker, as they explore the vital importance of cybersecurity to your business, including the following topics:
- Gaining work: Preparing for the increase in cybersecurity as a project pre-qualification by owners
- Profitability: Dealing with impacts to project profitability during cyber attacks
- Managing Data: Handling of client data as if it was your own
- Cybersecurity for your supply chain: Encouraging cyber best practices for subcontractors on your projects
