Our construction regulatory environment needs us to measure some important elements of safety-related incidents. Do these statistics help us be proactive or reactive? Are they part of our “State of Safety” report to our leadership and board or a compliance checkbox? In this webinar, we will dive into moving from just compliance-related statistics into a proactive and transparent safety metrics program that supports executive leadership, operations, construction managers, bids, funding, security, and, yes, compliance. Jim will step us through the basics of building a metrics program and talk about various domains that we should consider for a great safety metrics program, whether we are just starting or maturing our existing program. Attendees will get access to 25 sample metrics from Jim’s book and some actionable metrics they can start implementing on Monday morning, after coffee and safety briefings. Jim will give away a signed copy of his book during the webinar.
