National Conference Call for Proposals

Proposals to present an education session at the October 2009 National Conference & Trade Show in Orlando, FL are being accepted and must be submitted no later than July 10, 2009. View the Call for Proposals and the Proposal Cover Sheet.

Major Water and Wastewater System Owners to Present in Las Vegas

Harlan Kelly of the San Francisco Public Utility Commission, and Director of Public Works in the City of Baltimore Dave Scott, among others, will deliver high-impact presentations July 19-20 at CMAA’s first-ever best practices Water Summit. Other highlights include a keynote presentation from Catherine Gerali, district manager of the Metro Wastewater Reclamation District in greater Denver. Learn more about this exciting event.

New Addition to 2009 National Conference & Trade Show

New this year will be two pre-conference seminars designed to help you maximize the value you receive for the travel commitment you make. The seminars will provide a dynamic learning opportunity on two high interest topics: Scheduling and Delay Analysis, and LEED - Certifications and the CM’s responsibilities related to LEED. New Transportation Bill Plan Unveiled

James Oberstar, chair of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, has presented his blueprint for the successor legislation to SAFETEA-LU, including programs to be cut or consolidated. Details are on our Transportation Page.
