For this important project, the project owner, Massport, also served as the construction manager, the designer, and engineer. From a project management standpoint, CCM principles were applied to assure conditions of satisfaction were achieved. This team of projects managers worked together as one to successfully deliver this project on time and within budget. Project managers became design engineers, some overnight, others from years of past experience from the consulting industry, and created a good set of contract drawings and specifications that resulted in no addenda or change orders from errors or omissions.
