CMAA Foundation Scholarships

Scholarships may be awarded by the CMAA Foundation to students enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or graduate student in an accredited construction management or CM-related program for the next school year.  Candidates must have completed a minimum of one full academic year and have a minimum of one full year remaining in their course of study.  Scholarships are for one year.

In 2007, the CMAA Foundation awarded four $3,000 scholarships to the following individuals:

The 2007 Francis M. Keville Memorial Scholarship was awarded to Salvador Varela from Boise State University.

Scholarship winners were evaluated on the following criteria: applicant's academic objectives as they relate to the CM profession; academic performance in CM-related courses and overall; relationship between the academic program in which the applicant is enrolled and CM as a professional field; recommendations from a  faculty member or advisor.

Scholarships for the 2008-2009 academic year will be awarded at the CMAA National Conference & Trade Show in October 2008 in San Francisco, California.  The CMAA Foundation will provide travel to San Francisco for each scholarship recipient.  For a list of past scholarship recipients, click here.
