Assets: Better, Smarter, Cheaper, Faster...
presented by Dominic Thasarathar, Senior Industry Program Manager

Many contractors have a “Most innovative use of BIM” story to tell, some of these are rooted in the efficiency and productivity improvements they’ve achieved when designing or constructing a building project. Others are off the beaten track, perhaps downstream in operations and maintenance, or upstream in business case evaluation of an asset, or in the industrial or infrastructure arenas.  Collectively these stories are indicative of a continuous trend to push BIM harder and further in project delivery, but also to push BIM beyond its original home, into other segments of the asset lifecycle and further still, into other sectors. This topic will explore emerging trends in the use of BIM across projects, across sectors and across the asset lifecycle.
