Grassroots Activism
CMAA members participate in the advocacy process in several ways—including becoming informed about the issues and communicating with their elected leaders through the CMAA Legislative Action Center. Being a grassroots activist is easy and effective. Through the Legislative Action Center, CMAA members are able to:
• Review important federal legislation and key votes
• Search for information about all members of Congress
• Directly contact federal elected representatives
• Access tips on communicating with members of Congress.
Being an Informed Voter
It is important for everyone to make sure their voices are heard by casting their vote. CMAA members have federal campaign and election resources at their fingertips at www.CMAAVotes.com.
Advocacy Updates
CMAA members have access to additional advocacy-related information through the CM Advisor, CMAA Newsbriefs, and the CM Advocate—CMAA’s government affairs newsletter.
