Mr. Bodholt has more than 45 years of experience in construction supervision, cost estimating, and construction management.  He has served as project manager and project director for the construction of numerous facilities, including power generation plants, hydroelectric facilities, hydraulic structures, and nuclear and fossil power stations. Mr. Bodholt is thoroughly skilled and knowledgeable in all facets of the construction process, from estimating and bidding through final construction. He is also very experienced in the development of construction procedures and construction administrative manuals, schedule preparation, staff selection, labor relations and organization, claims and disputes resolution, litigation support, data base management, and technical guidance. Mr. Bodholt is a member of the Board of Governors for CMAA and was in 2003 elected by his Peers to become a FELLOW in the organization. He maintains active membership in several other professional societies.

Chris Brasco, Esq.

Chris Brasco's experience includes all facets of the construction process from contract formation through administration and the disputes process. His legal credentials are complemented by hands-on experience that includes the jobsite administration of a U.S. Corps of Engineers housing project in Germany, which was rescued from imminent default and successfully managed through final completion and large claim recovery. He has a family history in the construction industry, which provides him with a unique perspective and the ability to handle complex issues both at the jobsite and in the courtroom.  Mr. Brasco has represented clients before national and international forums including the International Chamber of Commerce International Court of Arbitration, state courts, boards of contract appeals and in arbitrations and mediations. He is actively involved in several trade associations and regularly lectures on issues of importance to the construction industry.

He has thirty years of experience with public agencies, private sector owners, developers, architects/engineers and construction managers for projects in the U.S. and overseas. Mike is a recognized authority on cost, value, construction economics and project delivery. He has presented numerous papers and lectures, as well as taught at the Catholic University in Washington, D.C. His current book is titled, “The Architect’s Essentials of Cost Management.”

Ted Devens is the Corporate Safety Director for Parsons Brinckerhoff Construction Services.  Prior to his current role, Mr. Devens provided consultative services for owners in the development of OCIP’s or wrap-ups on both the construction management aspect as well as the safety management aspect. Mr. Devens received a BSCE from Virginia Military Institute.  He is a member of the American Society of Safety Engineers and the Construction Management Association of America.  He currently chairs the Safety Management Task Force for the CMAA.  Through the task force, an alliance between OSHA and the CMAA has been in place for two years.

Currently providing safety oversight on DMJMH+N projects. Some of the notable project involvements were: Pentagon Renovation Projects; Alameda Corridor Trench, Grade Separations, & Rail Road Construction; Pier 400 Construction; Seven Oaks Dam Construction; and the LA River Flood Control Project.

Mr. Lawton has over 30 years of experience in a wide array of design and construction activities, with direct responsibility for complex construction programs in excess of $1 billion. With a multidisciplinary architecture/engineering perspective, Mr. Lawton is especially noted for his successful management of complex and large projects involving critical path scheduling, phased move-in schedules, coordination of numerous subcontractors, and the accommodation of “live” environments. Robert B. Wilson, Project Executive, Gilbane Building Company.  Responsible for the management of multiple contracts and projects, with primary focus on large federal and Postal Service programs.  Bob has been with Gilbane Building Company for 25 years and has experience on various forms of CM and GC contracts.  Prior to joining Gilbane, Bob was a member of the U.S. Navy Civil Engineer Corps for 23 years.  While in the Navy, he managed design and construction programs in the Atlantic and European areas, as well as being an active Seabee. Bob’s varied experience as an owner and contractor, particularly in the agency form of construction management, brings many years of successful experience in contract administration, organization and personnel development.  Bob has been active in CMAA for 16 years and is a CMAA Fellow, has served as President of the CMAA National Board of Directors, President of the CMAA Foundation and as Chairman of the CMCI Board of Governors.
