Jim Mitchell, CCM

Jim Mitchell is an AECOM Construction Services Sr. VP who is currently deployed in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He oversees teams of professionals providing integrated design, program and construction management and delivery services at risk (CM-at-Risk, D-B and TPM). As a CCM, Jim has over 32 years of experience with program and construction management in large complex facilities, and heavy civil infrastructure assignments throughout the United States and Middle East. In 2013, Jim served as Sr. VP and PM-CM business line leader. Prior to that, Jim was a market leader for AECOM’s education market sector, which specializes in program management for K-12 facilities in large urban school districts across the nation. In 2005, he led FEMA's education recovery response program in Louisiana after Hurricanes Katrina and Rita.

Raymond J. Brady, CCM, FCMAA

Ray Brady is a retiree who most recently worked as a Program Construction Manager and Vice President for MWH Global. Brady worked in the construction industry for 45 years before retiring. Throughout his career, Brady worked on projects dealing with water, wastewater, hotels, hospitals, pulp and paper, oil & gas, nuclear, roads and bridges, mines and tunnels. Prior to joining the Board of Governors,Brady spent six years on CMAA's Board of Directors. Four of those years were spent serving as Vice Chairman. Brady is a CCM and a member of CMAA's prestigious College of Fellows

Katie Choe, CCM, LEED GA
City of Boston - Boston, MA
 

Katie Choe is the Chief Engineer and Director of Construction Management for the City of Boston’s Public Works Department. She is responsible for 800 miles of roadway and 1,600 miles of sidewalk within the City, including an annual $40 million construction program, utility and private construction coordination, ADA compliance, and infrastructure asset management. Katie previously served as a construction project manager, Sustainability Program Manager, and Assistant Director of Capital Programs for Massport. In 2013, Katie was invited to be a delegate at the EPA’s first national Green Infrastructure Summit. While at Massport Katie was a member of the British-American Business Council of New England’s 40 Under 40 Roundtable. She was awarded the 2015 Rita Barron Public Official Award from the Charles River Watershed Association.

As a senior level CM professional with CH2M, Heidi brings over 18 years of design, construction, construction management and integrated project delivery expertise to the commercial and industrial construction markets, and is highly skilled in preconstruction process methodologies. Her commitment to excellence, client satisfaction and passion for construction management is evident with her involvement on the CMCI National Board of Governors and the University of Houston Industry Advisory Board. She has also served on CMAA’s Houston Chapter Board of Directors, multiple committees, and is very active with the CM mentoring program.

Christine Acampora, CCM,

Christine Acampora is a Director of Project Management at CBRE, the world’s largest Commercial Real Estate Services firm serving owners, investors and occupiers. Bank of America, Thales Communications, Microsoft, PepsiCo, and E*TRADE ares just a few of the high profile clients that Christine has served during her 8 year tenure with CBRE. Christine currently leads a team of 15 project management professionals who are dedicated to the Booz Allen Hamilton account. Christine began her career as an architect, where she focused on civic infrastructure projects, such as libraries, fire stations and recreation centers. In her 13 years managing design and construction at Dulles International Airport, Christine contributed to over $400 million worth of work. In 2006, Christine was selected as PB’s PM of the year; an honor she shared with Jim Ruddell.  She also became a LEED Accredited Professional in 2009. She currently mentors three young women in the design/construction industry.
 
 
 
Robert Gries, PE, CCM, PMP

Robert Gries has over 27 years of experience planning and executing projects. During those years, Robert has managed a variety of projects; from small, short-term projects to large, multi-year, politically-visible projects. Robert served as the NOAA liaison to EPA/DOE's Laboratories for the 21st Century (Labs21) Partnership Program. In this role, he identified strategies for reducing the high energy consumption of labs. His portfolio of projects includes the NMFS Santa Cruz Laboratory (Santa Cruz, CA), NOAA Marine Operations Center - Pacific (Newport, OR), and the NMFS La Jolla Laboratory (La Jolla, CA).  Robert has a BS in Architectural Engineering from the Milwaukee School of Engineering and an MS in Civil Engineering from the University of Maryland. He is a licensed engineer in Wisconsin and Washington as well as a Project Management Professional and CCM. In 2003, Robert was recognized as NOAA's Engineer of the Year. In 2011 he received NOAA's Administrator Award as well as the Department of Commerce's Bronze Medal for project excellence.

Mr. Houston joined Ardmore Associates, LLC in 2010 as an executive manager. He has more than 20 years of experience providing Construction Management services to various building types all manner of project delivery methods. He provides operational leadership and develops productive relationships among industry peers and clients. His expertise is in managing multiple projects while ensuring contract compliance and effective reporting to key stakeholders. His project experience is consists of new construction and renovation work in both the private and public sectors, including; K-12, Higher Education, Telecommunications, Research and Development and Healthcare facilities, and in the public sector, where he is managing the redevelopment of subsidized housing for the City of Chicago and the renovation and new construction of multiple facilities for City Colleges of Chicago.

As Chief Operations Officer for Keville Enterprises, Mr. Mason is responsible for corporate operations and nation-wide business development and marketing.  He also serves as the leader of Keville’s Boston office and Principal in Charge of Keville’s Construction Management, Program Management, Project Controls, Cost Estimating, Federal Programs, and Value Engineering practices.  Mr. Mason has over 31 years of experience in the industry, with specific experience in the areas of Construction Management, Planning, and concentrated experience in Claims Analysis and Claims Avoidance.  Mr. Mason began his career by serving for 9 years as an officer in the United States Navy Civil Engineer Corps, and subsequently spent 5 years on the Central Artery/Tunnel Project as a Claims Analyst.  He joined Keville Enterprises in 1998.  Mr. Mason is a former Director on the CMAA National Board of Directors, and is a former President of the New England Chapter.  He is a Licensed Civil Engineer, and holds the following degrees: ME, Penn State University, Civil/Construction Engineering and Management; BS, Syracuse University, Civil Engineering; BS, SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry, Building Construction/Wood Products Engineering.
   
 
Jim Morris, CCM

Jim Morris is a project manager for the City of Carson, Nevada. He is in charge of Capital Projects for Wastewater Improvements. Jim has been in the construction management industry since 1976. He has managed all types of vertical and horizontal projects throughout the continental southwest. Jim has been involved in Program Management assignments, including the complete management of Capital Improvement Programs for several public agencies.Jim started the CMAA's Southern Nevada Chapter in 2001. He has also and served on CMAA's Board of Directors.

Bill has 38 years’ experience in the Construction field. He has managed and enhanced VDOT’s Construction Quality Assurance & Training Programs. Bill has overseen all aspects of Roadway and Bridge construction in Virginia. He’s worked with The US Department of Labor & Industry and has  Developed the Nationwide Highway Construction Inspector Apprenticeship Program. He currently mentors and works with all levels of Construction Management throughout Virginia.
 
 
 
Chad White, CCM, DBIA

Chad White has nearly 20 years of construction experience. He is currently a Project Director with Vanir Construction Management, Inc.  He is a Terminal Development Manager at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) where he and his staff are directly involved with nearly $7B in airport modernization and expansion work. He serves on the Board of Directors for CMAA's Southern California chapter, as Chair of the CCM Committee. Chad received the prestigious Mehdi Heydari Culture of Certification Award from CMAA in 2014. Chad also volunteers with the Vanir Foundation as an Ambassador to Vanir sponsored schools in Southern California, where he helps bring curriculum, uniforms, and food to children in need.
 
 
 
Don Young, PE, CCM, F.SAME

Don Young is a Sr. VP at McDonough Bolyard Peck, Inc. (MBP). He serves as a regional manager in Virginia and promotes the MBP values on a daily basis. Don mentors CCM applicants, serves as board chairman for Certifications for CMAA's Central Virginia chapter, and is a certified 'CCM Standards of Practice' course instructor. Don also served on the two-year national level SAME Warrior Transition Task Force, where he promoted the CCM and CMIT certifications. Don has over 30 years of experience in the construction industry. His notable works include supporting the USACE in the United States, Europe, and the Middle East,  managing large federal construction projects.

Jacqui Mascoli, PE, CMIT
Gilbane - New York, NY
 

Jacqui is currently working for Gilbane Residential Construction, LLC as the Core and Shell Project Manager. She graduated from Manhattan College with a BS in Civil Engineering. In 2007, Jacqui began her career working for STV on 1WTC, she managed trade contract procurement processes for the owner. She was tasked with managing the punchlist and permit program for the Owner; driving the field to complete base building work, testing, commissioning, and creating the punchlist needed to obtain permits allowing tenant construction to begin. Jacqui also worked directly with the tenant fit-out contractors removing obstacles to allow their construction to proceed unimpeded, including MEP coordination and relocation, reconfiguring partitions, and expediting completion of base building work. While working full-time, she attended NJIT at night to complete her MS in Construction Engineering and Management. She received her degree in 2010.
