CMAA Student Chapters

STUDENT INVOLVEMENT

Students represent the future of the Construction Management industry.  CMAA encourages students to join CMAA as an important aspect of their future careers.

CMAA and its Regional Chapters extend the opportunity to students at colleges and universities across the nation to form Student Chapters.  Currently, there are 24 student chapters.  You can find information on CMAA's student chapters here.  Each chapter has a faculty advisor and a student board of directors.  Interested parties can contact the school directly to learn more about their CM program and the student chapter organization and activities.

CMAA offers a yearly competition, recognizing the Outstanding Student Chapter of the Year.  This competition is open to all offical student chapters, which have been in existence for the entire academic year of the competition.  The Annual Report/Student Chapter of the Year Award form is available here.

The CMIT program is one of the great benefits offered to students.  More information about this program is available here or by contacting Noelle Borman (703-677-3368).

Courtesy of the CMAA San Diego Chapter, a student recruitment poster is available for other CMAA regional chapters to edit and use for their own college and university campuses.  Contact Martha Montague (336-492-6028) for a copy.
