CM Safety Resources
A professional construction manager works to assure that the contractor provides a safe workplace, both for project workers and, in renovations, for individuals who continue to use the facility during construction. On behalf of an owner, CMs apply and integrate comprehensive project controls to help manage the critical issues of time, cost, scope, quality, and safety.
CMAA and its members are committed to efforts that protect employees' health and safety, particularly in reducing and preventing exposure to construction industry hazards, and increasing access to construction industry safety and health information and training resources. CMAA has partnered with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), provided safety-related education and training, and developed a CMAA Safety Committee Chaired by Ted Devens, PB Americas, Inc.
