2008 PROJECT ACHIEVEMENT AWARDS
Each year, America’s leading professional Construction and Program Managers deliver thousands of creative and innovative projects around the world.
In addition to the client’s satisfaction and praise, CMAA believes you deserve recognition for your work.
If you’ve completed a project you’re particularly proud of, one that you believe merits special acknowledgement, CMAA invites you to nominate it for a 2008 Project Achievement Award.
Eligible projects must have been completed between June 28, 2007 and June 27, 2008. Earning a Project Achievement Award from CMAA is your chance to showcase your project’s contribution to the community. And it puts you, and your firm, in the spotlight. In addition to receiving your award at the association’s 2008 National Conference & Trade Show in San Francisco, your achievement will be highlighted on CMAA’s web site, in the CM Advisor and in a press release sent out to the major construction industry news outlets.
Since 1999, CMAA has been presenting its Project Achievement Awards to recognize instances in which professional Construction or Program Management has made a significant contribution to the successful completion of a challenging project or program.
Last year’s honorees included a library, a national museum, a university student union, a trial court complex, an office center and renovations to bridge structures, highways and sewer facilities.
The variety in these projects demonstrates how central Construction and Program Management have become to our industry. It also proves that there’s room for your project among the coming year’s honorees. CMAA encourages you to submit your best and be part of this celebration of excellence.
NEW for 2008
This year, for the first time, you will also have the opportunity to single out your design consultant and/or your constructor for recognition. Simply check the box on the application form indicating that you are making a nomination(s), and provide a description of the nominee’s outstanding performance where requested in Tab Three of your entry.
Also this year, for the first time, the judges will select from among the Project Achievement Award winners the projects that best exemplify:
•Unique contributions the CM/PM made to achieving sustainable construction and/or LEED certification
• Innovative use of BIM technology to benefit the project. These projects or programs will receive special additional recognition.
